Colors for Earth is proud to introduce our "Fired Glass Color" line. We have 27 colors that are lead-free (non-toxic) and we have 2 colors that have a health warning. Along with a black and white outline. These colors are vibrant just like our translucent underglaze color line.
The colors can be used on most types of glass including COE 90 and COE 96 as well as float (window) glass.
Just like our other products, the last 2 digits of the color number will be the same throughout our color line, the glass colors will start with "G3xx". "G" for glass color and "3" for 300 series. For example "G322 Lemon Peel", in the CC series it is "CC122 Lemon Peel". This will help you when trying to match ceramic and glass pieces.
The color is in powder form and is mixed with our "Glass Medium". This allows you to mix what you want, when you want it and you don't have to worry about a shelf life like with other liquid glass color.
We are excited to add the fired glass color to our line and share glass projects with you in future emails. We released the glass color at the Dallas and Dayton shows and it was a huge success.
